The Vocal Code is an education-led platform designed to help singers become professionally ready for today’s music industry. Talent alone is no longer enough. Singers need a clear understanding of how the industry works — from backing vocal roles and recording sessions to touring, contracts, and professional expectations. Without this knowledge, many vocalists struggle to protect their work, value their contribution, or build long-term careers.

The Vocal Code exists to provide that clarity.

Through structured guidance, practical resources, and real-world experience, we teach singers how to navigate their careers with confidence, professionalism, and intention. Start with the Backing Vocalist Playbook — a foundational guide for singers who want to understand how professional vocal careers actually work and how to move forward with clarity.

Alongside education, The Vocal Code also supports artists, musical directors, and producers by sourcing professional vocalists for recording and live projects, operating within recognised industry frameworks and Musicians’ Union protocols.
